Ships. Since the beginning of time they have always held a great fascination for man. Each ship represents a gateway to new shores.
Also, being technicians, ships are an extremely interesting topic. No other means of transport is as complex as a ship. No other means of transport is so rich in form and so specialised.
Therefore we are proud that our company Schiffstechnik Buchloh has had the opportunity to design and build ships since 1994 – and has been incredibly successful in this endeavour. Passenger ships and cruisers as well as ferries and special ships, underway today on many inland waters, can be traced back to our plans and concepts.
We are based in the city of Unkel on the river Rhine. It was therefore obvious for us to specialise in the building of inland navigation vessels. We are small but fine. Our eight employees are all specialists in their sector and contact persons concerning all issues of the building of inland navigation vessels in Germany, Europe and overseas.
